A colleague and me discussed this winter to raise the dress code at work. We always liked the look of the adverts that we had seen previously and decided to go forward with a little dread. Very good instructions on how to measure up and the process of ordering and correction if necessary. We measured up accurately, however the suit came through on the small side.
Great customer service in making the changes necessary, returning the items and getting the correct size. Second time around all fits beautifully and really looks the part. Very well made indeed. If anything this suit has turned out much nicer that I could ever have imagined at such a reasonable price. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

First, the drawbacks. The wool of the trouser can rub a little rough initially on skin as the legs are unlined. After a few minutes I was fine. If you're sensitive to wool, you'll want to be careful.
Everything else is great. I'm happy with the fit. The legs are a trifle too long. My mother-in-law noticed, but no one else mentioned anything. If I'd ordered the suit a few days or a week earlier I could have had them taken up without trouble. Or just order the custom fit version. Problem solved.
The look of the vest with the jacket is epic. Just fantastic.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience with these suits. Admittedly, I was a tad worried about ordering a suit for my wedding online but it came out far better than I expected. The groomsman and I were getting complimented all night on our suits and how they loved the tweed and the look.
Tonya and team worked quickly from the moment we placed our order to get the suits made and shipped to the US. We had a bit of a tight deadline - made more difficult by COVID - but they delivered with time to spare.
The only slight complaint (and its hardly a complaint) is the buttons on the jackets get loose quick. We had a couple guys lose buttons during the picture taking.

Ordered this suit for my wedding. Tweedmaker worked with me on custom measurements and the customer service experience was fantastic start to finish. I own a few jackets made by a famous name brand tweed manufacturer, and Tweedmaker's cloth for this suit a bit thinner in weight, but is nonetheless nearly indistinguishable to my (untrained) eye.
Everything fit incredibly well, saving one minor detail; I have VERY short arms, and even after confirming with them through email, the jacket came with sleeves a little over an inch longer than would fit me, requiring I have it tailored. This was still better than an off the rack jacket which usually requires more than 2.5 inches be removed.
I received numerous compliments and have already recommended Tweedmaker to others. I may pick another one up sometime soon. Get it, you won't regret the purchase.

I was a bit worried at first as to how this would all turn out. But after getting my suit and putting it on it was like nothing I have worn before. I fit very well, it was softer to the touch than I though it would be, and on the cold Denver nights it was surprisingly warm but never was it to hot indoors. This is the perfect suit and its now my favorite one. I plan on buying at least two more now because of how great the product is!!! If you are reading this you are wasting time buying one for yourself. Get one and get ready to experience what true bliss is!

The most important thing I can tell you about this suit is that it is real, it is nice, and these people are very helpful in making sure it fits when it comes to you. They are prompt to reply. I would highly recommend paying the extra $100 to get custom measurements if this is for an important occasion. Mine was for my wedding and I did not want to mess with alterations.
It comes in a very small box that leaves the suit a little wrinkled. However all I did was put it on a hanger for a week and all the wrinkles were gone. This suit is heavy, so hangers alone keep them wrinkle free.
I really dig this company, and if I lived in a colder climate then I would definitely be a repeat customer.

I 'ummed and arred' about getting one for ages. Looks great, really wanted a tweed suit...BUT...sending my measurements off for something I've not even seen before that couldn't be exchanged.....? Finally I went for it and I couldn't have been more wrong!
I sent all my measurements across and within 4 weeks there appeared an innocuous parcel containing one amazing suit. The quality is excellent throughout and it fits like a glove - the nicest fitting and best made suit I have ever worn. I'm so pleased with it and it feels great wearing it for work and out for meetings. I absolutely don't need another but I'm fairly sure I'll be buying another.
My main tip - make sure you get a seamstress / tailor to take all your measurements so you know they're totally accurate. That way when it appears you'll have one SWEET suit :)

The service was superb - from the advice on measurements to the final checks just to make sure that I really did have long monkey arms (which I do) and the communication while the suit was being made - I couldn't fault it.

Living in Scotland, I have wondered about a tweed suit for some years, but didn't feel ready to take the plunge on a bespoke tailored outfit, and those I saw in the shops didn't appeal because of style and price. I bought this suit specifically for a friend's wedding in Gallway, Ireland. I am an organist, and she hired me to play. I needed something playful and dapper for this occasion. This suit is probably the most comfortable thing I own. Because it’s tweed that lends it a sort of informality that means I can wear it on occasions when I wouldn’t normally suit up.

Of course it's madness; everybody told me it was madness - there's no way you can buy a suit online and have it fit.
And yet, against everyone's advice I had a go.....and I'm absolutely tickled pink. Well, actually I'm tickled blue herringbone. The whole process has given me the greatest faith in Tweedmaker and especially the sensational Tonya; their online seamstress.
I sent all my measurements and she brilliantly had a look at them and wrote back to me....this was too short, this was an unlikely number; would I like to re-measure this and that. And she was bang on with every query.
So now I am the owner of the most fabulous suit I've ever owned. Indeed, one of the most tremendous suits I've ever seen (outside of the Tweedmaker website, of course).
I would urge you to have a little faith - these guys really do know exactly what they're doing; the suit is a beauty and the process was, well, seamless.

I ordered three suits for my wedding. One for me and one each for ‘my boys’. Tonya sorted out a couple of measurement issues for me. There was a small mixup which caused a delay in delivery, but she sorted that out quickly too. Anyway, they arrived in plenty of time and fitted us all brilliantly. I was *really* pleased with the quality of the tweed and they have been well made.
Wedding day arrived and I lost count of the number of guests asking where I’d got the suits from! Certainly went down well with the bride too!
If you’re in anydoubt about whether to order a suit (I was initially a tad worried) don’t be. Great service, great suit. Only downside was the additional ‘import tax’ after having paid for the suits, which was a surprise. Thanks Tonya for all your help.

The quality of finish is excellent, with the contrast between buttons and fabric making this a stand-out piece suitable for either a Christmas party or the Cabinet Bench at Council. And I have worn it to effect at both.
